Joining Exxelia Group in 2012, Exxelia Temex (ex Temex-Ceramics) is specialized in the design and manufacture of a broad range of radiofrequency and microwave passive electronic components and ceramic capacitors.
Exxelia Temex started business in 1971 at Pessac near Bordeaux in south-west France, producing frequency-adjustable components and ceramic capacitors. The business was expanded in 1988 by the external acquisition of ferrite and dielectric materials.
Over the last 35 years, the company has strengthened and streamlined its product range to focus on three core lines:
- Multilayer ceramic capacitors
- High-frequency adjustable capacitors and tuning devices
- Microwave materials
Its knowhow focuses on material development and composition, micro-mechanics, ceramic-metal bonding, microwave measurement and simulation.
Exxelia Temex develops its own ceramic dielectric compositions from standard raw materials and controls its production processes end-to-end in order to optimize and constantly enhance the performance of its components to address the demands of its customers’ applications.
