MIL 39006-Qualified Wet Tantalum Capacitors
two new ranges of wet tantalum capacitors qualified to MIL 39006/22 and MIL 39006/25.
MIL 39006/22 and MIL 39006/25 respectively equivalent to CLR79 and CLR81 types feature hermetically sealed cylindrical tantalum cases and axial leads. Both ranges are available in all cases: T1, T2 T3 and T4 with extended capacitance and voltage ratings.
MIL39006/22 is qualified for voltages from 6V to 125V and provides from 1200µF @ 6V to 56 µF @ 125V. MIL 39006/25 is qualified for voltages from 25V to 125V and provides from 680µF @ 25V to 82 µF @ 125V. Both ranges combine high energy density with large temperature ranges -55°C up to 125°C and are available with H vibration and shocks features.
These state-of-art MIL-qualified wet tantalum capacitors are widely used in avionics applications where high performance and extreme reliability are required. Performance highlights compared to solid tantalum capacitors include more capacitance, higher ripple currents, lower ESR and lower dc-leakage current.

Innovative low pass filters
Low-pass filter solutions are mainly used for EMI suppression in electronics systems. Exxelia Technologies (ex-Eurofarad), part of Exxelia Group, has developed several ranges of miniature filters with different low-pass configuration (C, L, Pi, T, 2xPi, 2xL and 2xT) mainly intended to protect electronic equipment from interferences. Exxelia Technologies produces sophisticated filters assembling Exxelia Group’s manufactured ceramic capacitors (X7R/ NPO) with ferrite inductors or winding cores in a shielding case. This solution’s main benefits are performance, reliability and optimal traceability. Exxelia offers innovative EMI suppression filter solutions providing great shielding performance including the FC030 feedthrough mounted on shielding enclosure and FCM030 series designed to prevent EMI on printed circuit board. FC030 series is feedthrough filter allowing to prevent not only EMI conduction but also EMI radiation on power supply or data signals designs up to 200V. FC030 insertion loss can be 20dB at 1MHz to reach 70dB up to 10 GHz. FC030 series is extremely performant on low frequencies applications. On the other hand, FC030 can offer very low capacitance values starting from 5pF allowing to protect high bandwidth data signals. Operating temperature from -55C° up to +175C°. FC030 series is ESA qualified. FCM030 features same design and performances’ as FC030 and is intended for surface mount devices. FCM030 is packaged in full metallic silver plated allowing optimal contact with ground plane that improves the interferences flow to the ground. The series particularly fit for amplifiers, radars, sensitive HMI, accurate measuring.
TCM Series of High-Reliability Common-Mode Inductors
Exxelia designed this extensive and cost-effective range to be an easy commercial (COTS) solution for aerospace, defense, and other high-reliability applications. The TCM series is available in a through-hole package for horizontal or vertical mounting. TCM chokes are offered with inductances from 0.7 mH to 47 mH under rated currents from 0.3 to 4.0 A. Each unit is thoroughly tested with a dielectric withstanding strength of 1,500 VAC. Excellent thermal properties allow the series to operate from -55° C to +125° C. The high mechanical performance of the component materials (all meeting to UL94 V0 rating) makes TCM a perfect fit for aviation, defense and transportation industries. The TCM series of common-mode chokes is designed into circuit boards of a large number of power electronic devices used for a wide range of applications, including switch-mode power supplies and converters, inverters, battery management systems, and chargers. Exxelia’s TCM series fully complies with the requirements of RoHS and REACH.
